I hacked my brain from asexual-but-kinky to bisexual, and you can too!

Purposefully becoming bisexual is called “bihacking,” and it’s different from your standard “conversion therapies” in that its aim is NOT to remove any of your interests. In my experience it’s nigh-impossible to intentionally get rid of any existing sexual interest. What we aim to do is expand sexual interests into new domains, while keeping existing ones.

The general principle of bihacking is to take the sexual interests you already have and expand upon them into new interests/fetishes/paraphilias/etc until you can reach direct sexual attraction to your ideal genders. For example inverting autogynephilia into regular gynephilia (attraction to women) is pretty straightforward, but you may have a starting point with no direct connection to any form of gender-related-attraction or to any attraction to the specific gender you want to become attracted to.

The most common form of bihacking that I’ve helped with involves exclusive gynephiles who wish to induce androphilia (attraction to men). I’ve spent a lot of time on this myself and think it’s very rewarding. This LessWrong comment is fairly good at outlining how to get into dicks themselves, if you’re already into cis women.

Beyond that though there’s a whole world of fetish-related encouragements you can make to your sexuality. I started with three fetishes and eventually branched out into having a fully functioning bisexuality through the general track shown below. (“Meta attraction” is a component of androphilia for many women that involves enjoying feeling small and feminine compared to your partner.) This is of course not the only path, and you may have an easier time of it if you don’t have to also induce gynephilia at the same time. Other obvious paths to follow include the “hole is hole” method that’s been mentioned by many bisexual tops. A cute twink can be just as fun to fuck as a cute girl.

Getting into new fetishes can be pretty difficult! Most of what you’re aiming for is to find fetishes you’re already into that contain elements of fetishes you’d like to get into, and then focus on those elements through porn, imagination, and masturbation. A willing partner can also help with this a lot, there’s many kinks you can get into without necessarily needing to be physically attracted to the person doing it to you, that will then make developing that physical attraction easier. Once you’ve developed a baseline interest in a fetish it’s much easier to massively increase your interest in that fetish through repeated exposure and self-hypnosis. For example I managed to help massively increase my interest in dicks through setting up a simple thought loop that would remind me to think about dicks whenever I wasn’t thinking about anything more important. It can also help once you’ve gotten into new physical features of others to start paying attention in public to see if you can spot others with those features. One of my favorite parts of inducing new interests is all the new eyecandy I get to enjoy.

Inducing gynephilia was pretty simple for me because all I had to do was invert some of the erotic target location errors I already had. It was already hot to be a woman, so I just had to project that onto others so that it was hot on them, not just on me. You may experience some greater difficulty, but if you are, I highly recommend just trying to enjoy normal vanilla porn and seeing how far that gets you. A lot of our culture is built around the baseline assumption that of course everyone thinks women are hot, and this assumption helps many women realize that they’re bisexual already. If that doesn’t work and you’re already attracted to men, you can try reversing the steps of the LessWrong comment linked above to try to induce any amount of attraction to cis women. If femininity repulses you then you can always start with very butch non-passing trans women and work to more feminine girls from there. Once you’ve developed a baseline attraction to women, you can intensify those feelings through repeated orgasms while focusing on women you’ve managed to find attractive IRL or in porn.

Bisexuality is straightforwardly better than monosexuality. Just think of all the cute twinks/hot dads/goth girls/etc you could fuck once you get more into them! Why deprive yourself of more fun? Learn to enjoy more sex today!
